William J. Mullis, President and Chief Executive Officer
Before opening the doors at ELS in 2001, Mr. Mullis was the founder and president of Staff Leasing (now Gevity). Mr. Mullis retired from Staff Leasing in 1997 after the company's initial public offering. Mr. Mullis brings a wealth of experience in leadership, "common sense" marketing, and executing growth strategies.
David Varnadore, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Varnadore, before leading the acquisition of People Leasing, now Employee Leasing Solutions, was the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Staff Leasing. Mr. Varnadore directed the financial management of Staff Leasing during revenue growth from $100 million to over $1.5 billion as well as playing a key role in Staff Leasing's initial public offering of its common stock. He also held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Staff Leasing.
C. Everett Southwick, Senior Vice President
Prior to joining Employee Leasing Solutions, Mr. Southwick was the Vice President of Information Technology for Staff Leasing. He developed software applications for payroll processing and human resource management. During his tenure at Staff Leasing (1988-1998), Mr. Southwick managed the technology to administer the growth of the company from 800 worksite employees to over 110,000.
Robert Kelly, Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Kelly spent eight years with Staff Leasing serving as Benefits Director, Client Interface Technology Director and Operations Director.
R. Ted Nipper, Senior Vice President
Mr. Nipper, a practicing corporate and real estate attorney in Bradenton since 1993, joined Mr. Mullis in 1994 as his personal attorney involved with various real estate ventures.
Brian Varnadore - Senior Vice President, Benefits
Mr. Varnadore served as Staff Leasing's Director and Managing General Agent of Health and Welfare benefit plans. His responsibilities included member enrollment and the communication and distribution of benefit plans.
Edward Richardson, Senior Vice President, Business Development
Mr. Richardson retired from Staff Leasing in 1997. During his tenure he developed a payroll and client information distribution system that grew from approximately 50 clients in 1985 to over 10,000 in 1997. His ability to obtain and leverage resources is a key ingredient to ELS's growth strategy.
Joe Gulash, Senior Vice President, Sales
Joe Gulash joined ELS in 2001. Prior to joining ELS, Mr. Gulash was Vice President of Sales with Staff Leasing and President of Staff Leasing of GA. Mr. Gulash has over 20 years of retail sales experience and more than 15 years in business to business sales.
